The Hand-Drawn Card (Pt 2)

Another year has come and gone, With laughter bright and love drawn strong. So gather ’round and hear the cheer— A little tale of our family’s year.

Levi stepped up to the Yankee plate, Swinging big, swinging great— All season long, with pride so calm, He cracked those pitches into bombs.

Piper, nimble as could be, Flipped and flew with artistry. An elite gymnast through and through— And stitching magic, sewing too!

Noah, outdoors at break of dawn, With tackle box and camo on. If it swims or if it runs, He’s after it—rain, shine, or sun.

Echo the pup, with tail held high, Chased joy from earth up to the sky. Through every outing, short or long, Echo barked the family song.

Allison, though the year began With healing plans and careful scans, Rose up strong, with grit to show— And filled the house with sourdough.

Phillip, with camera always near, Captured the moments that we hold dear. Through every twist and fun endeavor, He kept us laughing—kept us together.

So here’s to Christmas, warm and bright, To family gathered, hearts alight. May the year ahead bring joys anew— From our busy, blessed crew to you.
