The Make Christmas Great Again Card

‘Twas the season for slogans, the season for cheer,
We gotta make Christmas truly great this year.
We’ll buy all the presents; we’ll decorate the tree,
We’ll laugh and enjoy time with our family.

But amid all the glitter, the lights, and the fuss,
There’s a quiet reminder for each one of us:
Christmas is more than food, friends, and fun,
It trumps any election and who might’ve won.
It’s a manger, a star, a child who came,
A Savior who loves us—now that’s Christmas fame.

From the very first Christmas in tiny Bethlehem,
To today’s political climate, where no candidate’s a gem,
Jesus made Christmas great back then,
And He’ll make Christmas great again and again.
