The HomeSchool Card

This whole journey started so very long ago,
but as we weighed our options, we just kept thinking “No”.

Then one night while hanging out with our friends,
they said “just do it”, and we knew on Whom we could depend.

As we prayed for guidance from above,
the Lord directed each step with love.

From strangers willing to talk curriculum over dinner,
to dear friends offering advice to these beginners,

We continually felt God guiding us through,
and we knew with Him there is nothing we can’t do.

So in August our homeschool life officially began,
and now it’s so clear this was absolutely God’s plan.

The joy and challenge of teaching our three
is truly a gift; we’d all agree.

So Merry Christmas, friends and Happy New Year!
We’ll be over here keeping homeschool weird.
